Telecommunications retrofits are common today as legacy infrastructure is replaced with cable and fibre to support the multi-gigabit applications of the future. When not well managed, retrofits can be disruptive to tenants, building owners, and affect the structural integrity of the building itself.

- Interface with the tenant to determine their needs and develop a telecom functional requirements document.
- Produce a telecom design concept, including detailed schematics and any required computer-assisted design (CADD).
- Provide technical writing services on behalf of the client, including writing the technical specifications document during the tender process.
- Assist IT and facilities managers in the technical evaluation of tender responses.
- Represent the client to ensure all telecom requirements and deliverables are addressed during project meetings with the PWGSC Technical Authority, trades and construction primes.
- Project-manage the telecommunications infrastructure implementation including inside wiring, outside plant, and wireless rooftop assets.
- Verify all completed work to ensure compliance with codes and best-practices.
- Obtain manufacturer certification on behalf of the client to ensure the new telecom infrastructure is guaranteed for product and application support.
