Telecom Maintenance & Planning
Telecommunications infrastructure is an integral part of the structure and lifecycle of a building. Yet, building owners and managers are often unaware of the state of their telecom infrastructure until a problem arises.
With tenants selecting their communications service providers from a growing array of choices, a wide range of technicians may perform work in telecom rooms, through conduits and in ceiling and wall spaces. A proliferation of technologies, both wired and wireless, also adds to the complexity of telecom property management today.
The Attain Group Telecom Maintenance & Planning service provides building owners and managers with both long-term planning and short-term maintenance. We work to manage telecommunications assets consistent with the goals you have for your property.
The Attain Group will:
- Audit a building's existing telecommunications infrastructure and Telecom License Agreement(s), identify redundancies, deficiencies, and risks; create, and maintain up-to-date cable records.
- Work with property owners to assess the building's long-term needs and ensure that the telecommunications strategy is aligned with the type of tenants that the owner wishes to attract.
- Provide a detailed lifecycle plan over 5-25 years, with associated tasks and budgets.
- Put in place a telecom room access process to ensure all work requests are documented and carried out within the parameters of fire codes and best practices.
- Provide a single telecom interface for the building and manage telecom requests from tenants and carriers, both wired and wireless.
- Take care of routine telecom maintenance tasks, such as riser clean-up, fire-stopping, tenant management, and more.
- Provide an online communications asset database.
The Attain group focuses on achieving an integrated approach to low-voltage systems in buildings. As such, we can provide plans that address the convergence of building automation, life-safety systems, and controls.
